Description: | The Texas Tech Wakeboard Club recently hosted the Riptank Open Wakeboard Tournament in the sixth occasion of the tournament and partnered with the Riptank Boardshop that’s located in Buffalo Springs Lake. The event lasted the entire day and had a total of sixty riders who competed in six different divisions. A number of people from the local Lubbock area were in competition as were a number of professional riders from around the state. A veteran of the sport who’s been riding and using a wakeboard tower for almost fifteen years started the event in 2006 and did so because he loved his sport so much. |
